Clones Athletics Club was established in 1976 as a juvenile club. The club developed a senior membership in 2011 and by the end of 2015 boasted a membership of 359 juveniles and seniors, making it the largest club in Co. Monaghan.
It has worked out of a number of different locations in Clones town until it moved to the Peace Link, a multi sport complex in Clones, featuring state of the art athletics track and field facilities, in October 2014. Clones AC is proud to have a strong committee and panel of coaches focused on maintaining its sustainability and growth into the future. |

Senior Training SessionsTraining sessions for seniors and older juveniles (secondary school), take place on Mondays 7-8pm - run on roads from the Peace Link (High Viz and Headlamp needed) and Tuesdays and Thursdays 7.30-8.30pm at the Peace Link, Clones

Running for Absolute BeginnersClones AC introduced a "Running for Absolute Beginners" programme in July 2012. Since then over 500 beginners have been introduced to running for pleasure and fitness. We hope to have our next intake for this group or a similar development programme in early 2018, So watch this space.
